Will Holshouser (accordion), Jessica Lurie (Saxophones, flute), and Michael Sarin (drums) join Lisa Gutkin for a whimsical and groovy improvisational wander through her vast musical landscape.
Best known as a long time member of the Grammy Award winning Klezmatics, and for her score and performance in the Tony Award winning Indecent, Lisa Gutkin was also a backup musician in the Fast Folk Collective, co -founded the “downtown” celtic band, Whirligig, and has had an eclectic multi-ethnic career. She’s co-authored songs with Woody Guthrie, Anne Sexton, and Maggie Dubris, performed and composed for Sex and the City, played in Sting’s The Last Ship, written two film scores for Pearl Gluck, and is a MacDowell Fellow.

Jessica Lurie’s distinct voice was formed from the richly diverse and eclectic Seattle and NYC music scenes. As a leader, side-person, composer and collaborator, Jessica is a regular fixture on jazz, new music, experimental jazz, funk and folk scenes, touring extensively in the US and Europe, performing on saxophones, flute, voice and the occasional accordion and ukulele.
